Inspection Process
The inspector walks the full property, starting with the perimeter, landscaping and dumpster area, then laundry, housekeeping closets, maintenance shops and offices. Restaurants, bars and kitchenettes get the same inspection as any commercial kitchen. We also check a sample of guest rooms, any rooms with past complaints, and each room type you have. If you keep a pest log, we review it to see where problems keep coming back. At resorts and attractions, that includes outbuildings and amenity areas.
Treatment and Reporting
- Each visit starts with a check-in at the front desk or with management and a look at the pest log
- Room work is scheduled with housekeeping so occupied rooms are not disturbed
- Monitors and bait go in spots out of guest sight and reach
- When a guest reports bites, we inspect that room and the rooms around it
- After every visit, your designated contact hears what was found and treated
The goal is to keep rooms open and sellable, with as little disruption to guests as possible.
