Removal and Remediation
The goal is to stop new rodents from getting in while removing the ones already inside. Rodent proofing, sometimes called building them out, closes the gaps, vents and openings rats and mice use, and it is the step that makes the rest of the program last. Traps go in at the same time, so rodents still in the structure are caught rather than sealed inside.
Once trapping shows no new activity, cleanup begins. Old nests, droppings and any dead rodents are removed, and the surfaces they touched are sanitized. Rodents also leave other pests behind. Fleas, mites and ticks that lived on them can move to people and pets, and leftover food and nest debris draw cockroaches and carpet beetles, so the technician treats for these where needed.
Every job starts with an INSPECTION. A technician first talks with you about what you have heard, seen or found, then checks the inside and outside of the building to IDENTIFY the pest and DETERMINE the right plan. The inspection covers entry points, nesting areas and food sources. Findings are written down along the way, and you are welcome to walk along. Afterward you get a clear explanation of what was found and what comes next.
